| Take U-Bahn U1 in the direction of Kolumbusplatz or
U2 in the direction of Neuperlach Süd and get off at the next
stop, Sendlinger Tor.
From here take U-Bahn U6 in the direction of Garching-Forschungszentrum,
the final station (ca. 30 minutes). Alternatively, take any S-Bahn to Marienplatz (this will take only 3 minutes). Here, also take the U-Bahn U6 towards Garching-Forschungszentrum. |

| Take the S-Bahn S8 towards Ismaning; Here, get on bus 230 which takes you to Garching-Forschungszentrum. | |

| Bus 230 (Ismaning - Garching-Forschungszentrum): operation only on weekdays in intervals of 40 minutes. Busses sometimes wait for a delayed S-Bahn upto 8 minutes. | |
From Airport München |

| Arriving in Munich at the international airport, you have to look for the S-Bahn
signs. Get on S-Bahn S8 in the direction Hauptbahnhof. At the
third station called Ismaning (13 minutes later) leave the S-Bahn and
take te bus 230. Get off the bus at stop Garching-Forschungszentrum. Alternatively: Take S1 towards Neufahrn, and then take bus 690. Get off the bus at Garching-Forschungszentrum. |

| Either you come from the south (e.g. the city) or from the north (e.g. the airport) you preferably take highway no. 9 (A9). Leave the highway at the exit Garching Nord (exit 70) and from there (either to the right or left) straight; through the next traffic lights, following the sign to the Forschungsinstitute. There exists partking opportunities at the left-hand side of the Ludwig-Prandtl-Straße. | |
